Udderly Smooth Review and Giveaway

I discovered Udderly Smooth a few months ago, I had run out of lotion and had a event to go to. Walgreen's is about five minutes from my house as I was trying to decide what to get the store clerk suggested it. I purchased the body and udder cream. I am hooked it really leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

There is no greasy feeling and it is lightly scented so it won't clash with your perfume or cologne. I also suffer from dry skin in the winter especially my feet.

I haven't had that problem this winter. My feet have not started cracking like they normally do. Another great thing is the whole family can use it. Sometimes I have to buy multiple lotions and creams for different members in my house because of the smell.

The products are a great find and I have continued to purchase them. I wanted to share this wonderful product because it works and it's made in America by a wonderful family. You know I am big on family. The company was founded in the 70's I had the pleasure of meeting one of the family members online without knowing and what has stuck with me is her friendliness and she willingly answers questions a lot of companies don't do that.

Yum Yum who does not love coffee? I for one am a lover and this was like opening a gift. I was sent a 40 count sampler pack. Which consisted of light, medium, and dark-roast blends: Breakfast Blend, Boardwalk Blend, Brooklyn Bridge, Colombian, Cyclone, Donut Shop, Fugheddaboutit and French Roast. All very smooth and tasty but my favorite was the Donut Shop blend best. All of the flavors are mild not very bold but it is a great value for the price. And i will be buying more.  visit here

I have been using this for 3 days and so far im loving it it has a clean minty smell and it tingles when you put it on.
You do have to be careful because of the dark color it will stain so use dark cloths when removing or a white one that can be bleached. my skin has started feeling smoother and i will update after more time buy it here on amazon

Uni VoxBox

These are the items I received free from influenster  the Uni VoxBox. I was very excited to be picked and could not wait to get it. Once it came inside was a Pilot pen by Acroball  pens it was put to immediate use since my husband and myself are college students. It writes really smooth and neat, I love this pen I ended up hiding it from him. I also received  

Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation but it was to light for my complexion so I used it as a concealer and it goes on easy not lumpy or greasy and did not feel weighted. Red Rose tea was inside and a tasty suprise will be buying more of this. The impress nails I found easy to use and they actually stayed on. The lipstick also wasnt a color for my complexion but I found away around it by missing it really is a good lipstick. And the last item was playtex tampons that I gave away due to not needing them any longer. Over all I loved my box and all products.

It arrived really fast and I was excited to try.  The first time I tried it I mixed it up with my morning banana smoothie. I used about a tablespoon amount, I have never used this type of product before but was excited to try since it offers antioxidants and fat burning properties. It did alter the flavor of my smoothie giving it a nutty taste but is wasn't bad.  Later in the day I added it to my fruit salad just a sprinkle like a garnish. Over all I have noticed a slight energy increase and it does enhance the flavor to lots of things as for the calorie burning I am sure that will take time to make any noticeable changes. Link to order

Soda stream review and giveaway

Sodastream  we have all heard of it and I know are wondering about it.  I received mine Tuesday and
started using it right away. It works great easy to use the older kids can use it as well. It comes in a variety of great flavors, regular soda flavors, diet, Crystal light and Country time to name a few.

I know the big question is taste I was a skeptic I have been drinking Cokes since college. I love the taste of the cola and ginger ale I haven't had a chance to try all of the flavors but as I do they taste great.

Next I decided to look at cost a 12 pack of sodas can run 5.99 lets say you spend $50 dollars a month on soda well the least expensive machine is $79.99 and comes with a sample pack. Once past that first buy setup you start to save.  You get a carbonation can which makes 60 liters that's 30 dollars saved right there most branded  2 liters cost $1 to 1.89.  1 bottle of flavor is about $4.99 and makes 12 liters they even have a special every 10th bottle free.

I found some great information on there site about the environment as well according to the information there one carbonator makes enough soda that is equivalent to 310 aluminum cans. There is tons of info onthere they even have kosher products. you can also find information on where to purchase a machine if you are unable to buy online. Soda stream is available at Sears, Costco, Bed Bath and Beyond as well as many other stores.

I love this machine and will be buying one for my mom and mother in law as soon as I can because they are worth it  and we have a large family it would pay for its self at the first get together. I have 13 nieces and nephews just on my side so imagine what we spend on sodas for Christmas when everyone is at my moms for  days before Christmas.  Sodastream it is a investment that pays for itself helps the environment and gives you great tasting soda or sparkling water and more. I also want you to look at this picture compare it to the back of your soda can and decide how Sodastream can improve your life my doctor told me if I get off cokes I would lose 40 pounds in 2 months hmm look like when summer comes again I will be in a bikini. A few weeks ago I won a rug from Kalaty Rugs Facebook page. When it arrived I could not believe the quality of the small area rug. The design and color consistency is unbelievable.

I couldn't decide where to put it because I didn't want anyone wiping there feet on it entering the house so I decided to put it in my bedroom right by my side of the bed.

 I love how first thing in the morning instead of my feet touching cold floor my toes sink into soft plush heaven . The rug is well made and it is very thick. I love the design that was sent out. The only problem I have had is my husband complaining because its on my side and my puppy trying to sleep on it.

I am a avid reader of both Fantasy,Horror and Paranormal SciFi to name a few genres I enjoy.  I found the book well written and characters interesting [[ASIN:B008OP2GA0 Dark Corners]]


My favorite was the Road to Vegas and I found myself wanting it to grow from short story to novel. The stories in Dark Corners make you think.

 You can identify with the characters to be transported into the story with them and that is why I love a great read and this is defiantly one. The book is not scary more haunting with a mix of reality.   I look forward to reading other works by the author.

I really enjoyed listening to this CD. I found it mellow and fun but you can relate to what she is saying in the songs. I will continue listening to it as well as loading it to my iPod.

IPAG BAG by Chris Pillot Lopez Reveiw

I was asked by a former coworker to read there manuscript that is about to be released. It is filled with touching inspirational poems.  The book is touching and heartfelt.

 I am not a big poetry reader but at the time that it was given to me it was just what I needed. I am not a devout religious person but I believe in a greater power.
 I grew up in Louisiana surrounded by older people and they had sayings. When you are young and hear them you brush them off with a head shake. But after reading  these touching words written by Chris it brings one to mind  that says even when you don't know what you need God does.

And I needed the words on the pages of this book. I had become non caring and depressed and they lifted me up and got me going again. This book filled me up with the encouragement and knowledge to not give up to push on at my dream. This is a great inspirational  book and I am sure that this new writer has so much more to offer the literary world I for one cant wait. Starbox by Starlooks Review

I recently received a Starbox which is made by Starlooks. They are fifteen dollars and well worth it the quality of make up you get if purchased separately would cost more. I loved the presentation inside was a eye shadow, eye liner, and lipstick.

The box comes with a bow tied around it as you open it you discover tissue paper which adds to the fun of seeing whats inside.  Once opened you discover a introduction card. See No Evil the Gold Dust liner, Hear No Evil Posh Eye Shadow,  Speak No Evil the Masquerade Lipstick and A surprise to enhance. This is  just a brief description of what one of the cards said. This box is awesome and made me feel like it was a present . They even place a small crystal inside of the box.

The eye shadow called Posh I love that name its a purple shade and it went on easy and the purple popped on my skin.  It is a loose shadow but has a small opening which I found a plus since my skill level is beginner to intermediate. It didn't fade even after putting drops in my eye for my contacts. Posh is the right shade of purple not to faint  but not to much where it makes you clownish they really got the color right with this.

The lipstick was called Masquerade it didn't dry out my lips and lasted but what I found the best thing about this lipstick was it didn't get gummy. I really loved the color on me a red with a hint of orange.

The pencil Gold Dust a gorgeous gold color that  glitters.  I thought it perfect for nights out on the town or if you want your eyes to stand out. I did have to put it over a darker shadow, because of my coloring , but with just the liner you see a sparkle when the light catches it.

And my all time favorite item in the box was a special addition right on time for Halloween the Eye Rock  Eye Tattoos. They are real easy to apply using water, instructions are on the back. I have always wanted to try these but not knowing if it was hard to  apply,  intimidated me. You will love these it adds a mysterious look to your make up. Even my husband likes them he said it reminded him of Uma Thurman in Batman. Now he wants me to buy more. Starlooks is a fabulous find .

They make it easy to reach them by being on Facebook and Twitter and also YouTube. I think everyone should take a look at there site. Starbox would make a great present for a birthday or Christmas even graduation.

 What a wonderful thing to receive each month. Starbox is a well deserved treat to any women that loves looking her best. It is perfect for all ages young and mature. And it deserves the name I felt like a star all night.

I am really excited to be given the opportunity to try this great natural product line.  When I received it I tried the mascara first. I have problems with mascara so I don't normally wear it. It irritates my eyelash follicles and trust me it hurts  Another problem I have had is that it causes my eyelashes to shed  and I have naturally sparse lashes. But I can honestly say that I have worn Eye of Horus three days in a row now and no shedding no pain so I am totally in love with this mascara. I hate that weighted clumpy feeling and with this line there is none of it I had little to no clumping and my eyes do not feel weighted. So it is a great product find.  They are based out of Australia and are all natural and Paraben free. 

If you have not heard of Parabens they are used in cosmetics as a preservative, and there is a big debate right now as to the harmful effects and links to cancer.

I received the Ultimate goddess essentials pack: Eye of Horus Natural Mascara, Liquid Define Liner, Natural Smokey Eye Pencil, Cosmetic Sharpener, Compact Mirror, and a Microfiber cleansing cloth in in a little make up bag. I also received Bronze amulet goddess pencil and Charcoal obsidian goddess pencil.I tried the Bronze liner first with my coloring it was very faint but it went on smooth and easy. I then tried Charcoal Obsidian and all I can saw is wow.

 I love my eyes to be well defined because I wear glasses most of the time and it will definitely do that. No clumping no smudging I will be posting more pictures of my use of this line I cant wait till the release shadows. I was lucky enough to be picked for a Green Mountain Coffee assignment from bzzagent. That means I received the coffee free.  I have been a drinker of Green Mountain for several months, but I had only vaguely heard of Fair Trade.  So I started researching what it was. There is actually a website you can go to to find out more information.

Fair Trade is when goods are obtained fairly. The workers as well as farmers are fairly compensated. It helps farmers in developing companies build businesses as well as allows them to help there communities.

When you buy Fair Trade Items you are helping build schools, ensure that this Countries have basic things we take for granted and more.  A lot of the countries are poverty stricken and this opens up so many opportunities for them.


Green Mountain Coffee is one of many companies listed under Fair Trade. Fair Trade includes other products as well.  Green Mountain is one of my favorite coffees they offer a wide assortment of flavors. They have tea, hot cocoa and of course coffee. One of the flavors that I had not tried before was Wild Mountain Blueberry. I love the full taste of the coffee with just enough Blueberry to over power but mix nicely and create a coffee melody in your mouth. You really should try it.  Green Mountain is the world leader when it comes to purchasing Fair Trade Certified. I received this product free about 4 weeks ago. I always keep lip gloss or balm with me. I have it stashed everywhere. Well I started using Pangea Organics Lip Balm right away.
I like the way it feels on my lips, they feel moist but not greasy. And also unlike some lip balms which don't work well under lipstick this has not caused me any problems. I have been using it exclusively. I am really in love with it. I like the hint of citrus scent that it gives off. I love the way it keeps my lips hydrated and soft. This was my first time using a natural lip balm. But won't be my last.
So it does get a kiss of approval.

Country Bob,s is a winner

I recently received 2 bottles of Country Bob,s sauce to review. Well let me tell you I think it is wonderful.  I love to cook so this gave me the opportunity to experiment with a new ingredient. The business started in 1968. I find it wonderful that it is a family  business and that it is based here in the U.S. They offer several products to choose from sauces and seasoning. I wish I could have got my hands on some of that seasoning as well. I tried the sauce on  roast and french fries, over the weekend. Finally today I had a chance to actually  work with it. Being from Louisiana and loving to cook of course you should have known it would end up in a gravy or roux. Since it has tomato in it I  decided on a play on  shrimp creole.  It turned out so good we didn't have left overs and my family is not as found of seafood as I am. I really love the flavor in this sauce it doesn't have a artificial taste nor does it have a bottle like taste.  This sauce  is a definite tasty addition to your kitchen to add some flavor to a bland or boring meal or even change up a recipe.  I urge you to check out his website and face book as well as trying this for your self.  I also included the recipe as well. 3 green onions, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 cup smoke sausage cup up to your preference 1 lg. onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1/4 cup of country bob's sauce
1 small can tomato sauce
1-2 lb. shrimp
1 tsp. granulated sugar
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. red pepper
Salt to taste
1 tsp lemon juice2 tbsp. seafood seasoning
2 c. water
a pinch of cayenne

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. flour

Make roux by browning and stirring constantly Add veggies and garlic. Saute then add tomato sauce and Country Bob's sauce and water Add all seasoning you want to let it cook about 40 minutes add shrimp and sausage i used andouille but your favorite is fine let it cook about 15 more minutes if it needs a little longer just keep an eye on it serve over rice. Now I'm no culinary expert so please play with this what worked for our taste may not suit yours but I will be yummy
